The Media Center enacts a dynamic positioning, addressing the radial arrangement of the existing arts complex throughout the upper level while simultaneously inflecting out towards the building that houses the media faculty. This opening out draws together the public open space of the upper Plaza and the lower Theatre. While the outdoor seating inflect inward to the lobby, the stair in turn inflects onward as it rises up to the Media Production Studios on the second floor. situating exchanges between individuals and uses, inside and out — the middle terrace incorporating into the lobby space, first as a refreshment counter, and then extending as stairs.
